Dawn Okoro is dope. I admire her passion put to canvas via these photo-style paintings. They almost look too real to be drawn and too strong to be REAL,but they are.
I just wanted to take a moment to show her off, give her some much deserved shine, and showcase real talent. I crave these strong images of women, specifically of color, whom we rarely see depicted honestly in media. Dawn shows us how much we're missing when we narrow our visions to a television set.
